Back in the day I use to be into the moon and allot more things about it and today I can say that I’m really back into it and exploring more about the wonders of the universe.
[/notify_box]

As many people know how the moon controls the ocean water and our bodies are 75% water so it does have effect on us both men and women. Well I’m doing a moon hair cutting test to see if I will grow back hair faster from not cutting on a new moon.

From a few of my research on what I have found many say that the hair does grow faster, I’m going to put my hair cutting on the moon table so this means only on new moons I will be cutting and nothing less. I have provided some links that mention a bit about cutting on the moon times.

I haven’t cut my hair in 45 days and today is the first time I will be measuring its growth after it’s cut, I was about to cut it three days ago but I decided to wait until the new moon come in on the 9th of May, this test even thou written today it will not be posted until the next new moon with the results I need to explain exactly what was going on over the time of growth. However the most important thing I will be doing is looking at it’s growth speed, As what I do remember, harvest time and starting new things is always best done on a new moon.

I will be doing the same things I normally do, washing my hair 2 times a week, and brushing around 1hr 30 day combine with morning, evening and night time brushing.

These are some of the things I do to maintain healthy hair, I do have some in another post but this is a update.

Progress.

Moon Day: Before I cut my hair, I wash and brush dried it, then cut it with a #1 comb, then washed it again, then applied the vitamins and moisture as usual for end finish then put my compression for about 1hr then brushed for about 30min, then compression again till day 1.

Day1 Morning: The new moon in the region of Taurus, so the morning After, taking off my sleeping cap, I don’t really notice any difference in hair texture or the abundance of hair on my scalp. However I continued The regular morning brushing, this time aiming for details and trouble spots, applying the daily moisture to my hair and brushing for about 7min. It feels great of course with less hair on your head.

Day1 Evening: After 5hr period I apply vitamin natural oil 5 drops and brush for a total of 35min then cap on for the rest of the evening, then 20min before bed.
Day2 Morning: Hair looks fuller today and much more even, I applied my vitamins and protein and brushed for about 15min using a super soft brush, this brush I had for ages and its a dian its very soft of the scalp and hair strains.
Took off my compression cap for the next 4hrs giving the hair a few brushes.

Day2 Evening: After 4hrs I brushed again using my super softy I will be using this for a few weeks until the hair gets thick enough to better support the soft crown that acts like a medium brush. I didn’t apply anything just yet but apply my cap compression again after a few strokes of the brush. 1hr 30min latter I applied my vitamins and protein and brush for 30min.
Before bed brush for 5min this time.
Day3 Morning: Brushing out my hair for about 1min then after that comb the ends out and brush again. Applying vitamins and protein silk all natural. I then. Brushed for a session on 15min with my super softy, applying my cap compression for the next 1hr 30min. Brushing for about 5min again then For the next 4hrs no compression.

Day3 Evening: After 4hrs I brushed for about 3min then applied compression. 5hrs latter then I brushed for 30min, applied the compression again.
Day4 Morning: Today hair feels more abundant and full, brushed for the first 20min then after applied vitamins and protein silk then brushed again for 5min.
I then applied compression.

Day4 Evening:11hrs latter I brushed for 20min, applying vitamins and protein silk then brushed again for 10min, ended the night with any more brushing
Day5 Morning: My hair really feels great this morning, I brushed for 30min before washing my hair. I maintained a straight forward combing of my hair before washing it.
After washing my hair, I pat dry and brushed, if your a person with waves no need to worry about loosing your waves cause your hair is pretty in place once you got great detail.
Then after Brushing it damp at the base root, in went the vitamins, silk protein, then I began to comb my hair into place everything looks very balance and full.
It sure does feel longer in just a shirt time.

Day5 Evening:Brushing 2 hrs latter applying vitamins and protein silk, brushed for about 20min after
Day6 Morning: A early day today started with 15min of brushing after a nights compression, then 1hr 30min latter with another brushing of 5min applied vitamins and protein silk then applied cap compression again. The feel of it is indeed higher on the 6th day that if I would randomly cut it with a #2 comb.
Day7 Morning: Looking at my hair on day 7 looks great, indeed it is much higher than without cutting with the moon, I brushed this morning for about 30min, I will like to add some information on this day about the growth of the hair, when you brush your pulling your hair strands in a direction this also helps growth as well but with my scalp I can feel the rapid growth by itch jumps, to me this is when your hair increases is speed from the base of the root out of the scalp because it doesn’t last to long.

Day7 Evening: Keeping my hair compressed for hrs about 5hrs then brush for 40min and re- compress as usual, and then brushed again for another 30min before bed.
Day8 Morning: Brushing for 15min today I applied argon oil about 4 times I included this into my natural mix from within 4 days from all these.

Day8 Evening: Brushed as usual and moisturize and applied vitamins this is less than I normally would if I had higher hair.
Day9 Evening: In the evening 5hrs latter, I brushed for about 5min then another 15min 30min latter, then washed my hair with press drying, applied my vitamins and argon oil. Then applied cap compression.
Day10 Morning: The morning after a wash, hair texture impact with shine and thickness, im not taking any special vitamins to promote hair growth, vitamin D and vitamin oil thats specially for hair.
Brushing for 12min this morning.
Day18 Morning: Brushing and combing for about 10min today the hair is enhanced much more than I would expect darker, now I can see the length difference much faster.

Day18 Evening: After 4hrs I didn’t brush un till a total of 6hrs, some hair is sticking out until i cut the ends of those hair thats so long. After cutting long hair thats sticking out, right after I applied only vitamins and argon oil this time then applied compression.
Day21 Morning: This day began brushing for about 3hrs before washing my hair however I clip the ends to control the curl over that loose hair gets all over your head.

Day21 Evening: Today im trying my new Japanese 100% hair tonic that helps your hair strands improve and get stronger. In the next few weeks at least until I reach the full 30 days of the new moon I will know if this one has also worked.
Day22 Morning: My hair jumped on a super length again this morning the ends were just too long so I had to trim again and brush.

Day24 Evening: After looking at my hair for these days I notice its much longer and would take 5 weeks had I not cut to the nee moon. After 6hrs I washed my hair again and its much smoother. I applied vitamins, Japanese tonic with conditioner.
Day25 Morning: Combing and brushing for about 10min then applying compression.

Day25 Evening: Brushing for 3min then applying compression for 1hr, I had to do a light trim to the ends cause I notice that my hair was just to long. Vitamins and then Japanese tonic. I think the tonic is super.
Day26 Morning: The morning after noticeable growth of hair I think the Japanese tonic has something to do with it. Brushed for about 8min.

Day26 Evening: Compression wasnt active for several hrs but did brush for 1hr before bed.
Day27 Morning:Even thou today is a New moon It will be until 12pm EST That I will cut so these last hrs I can say that, hair did grow much faster than it normally would other wise. So im ending it by the time I cut my hair.

Day27 Evening: Empty.
Last Words: I notice that the hair grew much faster in 27days than it did in 5 weeks it’s about the same in the new moon length that it would. I will also like to point out here that, using my cap tsurag will help you to keep your hair clean and in order, these notes are for anyone wanting 360 waves or already got it. There’s no need for all the craziness to keep your hair in place when your washing it, washing it normally in the shower I find to be no problem, the thing here is once your hair begins to lay down it will stay that way once you keep your maintenance routine the same, the compression from the cap is 90% of the reason your hair will stay in order, however there is something that needs to be pointed out.

In the day time it’s very important to always comb your hair every 4hrs or so what this does is helps your pattern to remain in detail and to enhance it keep doing that and you will notice your patter becoming more and more detailed. when you sleep what happens is that your hair gets scatters apart and can be a bit harder to keep in tack but once you comb when you wake it should be good.

My hair was moist all the time from the vitamin oil or the argon oil, you may find some hair sticking up at times if your hair is in good condition it’s not lacking from moisture its just that when hair follicles get longer than others then do tend to stick out from the rest. I trim them when they are hard to control.
Im happy I did this test and looked at it closely everyday as my hair grew longer and longer, I notice a major jump when I used the Japanese hair tonic, it helps your hair to be strong and all the good stuff. All I used was oil base liquids and as your hair grows more you will have to put more to even out the moisture.
So all in all the moon does help your hair to grow much faster, I really hope this helps others that are curious as to if this really works.

Treatment of Seborrheic Dermatitis

My Method dealing with this, New York.

Please note: Im not a Dr. however always try to get the most natural treatment possible, this is what worked for me and may not work for you, some information was pulled from online articles to bring a understanding of what seborrheic dermatitis is and it’s effect on parts of the body.
[/notify_box]

Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory disorder affecting areas of the head and trunk where sebaceous glands are most prominent. Lipophilic yeasts of the Malassezia genus, as well as genetic, environmental and general health factors, contribute to this disorder. Scalp seborrhea varies from mild dandruff to dense, diffuse, adherent scale. Facial and trunk seborrhea is characterized by powdery or greasy scale in skin folds and along hair margins. Treatment options include application of selenium sulfide, pyrithione zinc or ketoconazole-containing shampoos, topical ketoconazole cream or terbinafine solution, topical sodium sulfacetamide and topical corticosteroids.

The etiology of seborrheic dermatitis remains unknown, although many factors, including hormonal, have been implicated. This chronic inflammatory skin disorder is generally confined to areas of the head and trunk where sebaceous glands are most prominent. When seborrheic dermatitis occurs in the neonatal period, it usually disappears by six to 12 months of age, suggesting that it may be a response to maternal hormone stimulation.1

Seborrheic dermatitis frequently affects persons in postpuberty. Additional evidence of hormonal influence is provided by research demonstrating that the human sebocyte responds to androgen stimulation.2

Seborrheic dermatitis can occur on many different body areas. Usually it forms where the skin is oily or greasy. Commonly affected areas include the scalp, eyebrows, eyelids, creases of the nose, lips, behind the ears, in the outer ear, and middle of the chest.

Seborrheic dermatitis in infants, also called cradle cap, is a harmless, temporary condition. It appears as thick, crusty, yellow or brown scales over the child’s scalp. Similar scales may also be found on the eyelids, ear, around the nose, and in the groin. Cradle cap may be seen in newborns and small children up to age 3 .

Cradle cap is not contagious, nor is it caused by poor hygiene. It is not an allergy, and it is not dangerous. Cradle cap may or may not itch. If it itches, excessive scratching of the area may cause additional inflammation, and breaks in skin may cause mild infections or bleeding.
In general, symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis include:

 1. Skin lesions.
 2. Plaques over large area.
 3. Greasy, oily areas of skin.
 4. Skin scales — white and flaking, or yellowish, oily, and adherent — “dandruff”.
 5. Itching — may become more itchy if infected.
 6. Mild redness.
 7. Hair loss.
 8. Pimple like bumps in the scalp.

Detecting what it is:
For the time when I notice flakes in the scalp is actually between 7-10yrs prior to moving into cold climate conditions my scalp began to change. I would normally apply light gel to my hair and brush as I would normally for years, I notice itching after 7yrs being in the cold, so I thought it was dandruff so I would shampoo my hair with head and shoulders, I would use this as my prime shampoo for months and would wash anytime I shower, (with no knowledge of the dangers of sulfates) so as I continue to use head and shoulders I would notice it will go away for a while and then a few weeks latter come back.

I just couldn’t understand what was causing this so I continued to wash my hair again with the same shampoo, then I wanted something stronger so I tried selsun blue and used that for a while but I really don’t like how selsun blue smelled this is of course before today with the different options in the fragrance they put into it now. My hair felt tacky and smelled nasty so I stopped using it. I went back to head and shoulders until I really got tired of dealing with this. I tried putting extra gel or grease to keep my scalp moist. Again I notice it would seem to calm down but then return, I totally gave up on trying stuff for this so for the next 5yrs I would wash my hair normally and use head and shoulders if I think I needed it.

Over the course of those years, what I notice was that temperature, water moisture and the activity on your scalp played a very important role on this thing. I find when I cut my hair and constantly brush it would go away under natural water not in the United States that my hair and scalp will regain it’s texture and natural moistness. But once I return it will either get worse or just act up. So I do know for sure that water is very important in how it behaves, I notice that what this is isn’t dandruff and if it is it’s something I never seen before so I began to do some research on what this really is about.

My Research:

After I decided to take this thing by the horns I headed to the dermatologist to get some answers and a real solution to this madness, I love my hair and it has bin years since I have seen it the way I know it to look and was in demand to bring it back health and up to it’s peak. Now after speaking to him I was giving a solution liquid to put into my scalp to get rid of it, however I was told that people everyone has some kind of flakes from the scalp this didn’t sound normal to me at all since I have never seen this sort of thing, I didn’t mention that I also notice this a week coming from the barber from getting my hair cut, so my thoughts at first was I had a hair or scalp infection, I know how to cut my own hair but this cut I just wanted to feel the feel of getting my hair cut by the barber, (never me again) latter that week  when this happened I was more than upset.

I used the solution for about 3 months in and I notices drying of my hair follicle’s and scalp so I began to mix it with argon oil,  gradually I saw the change and kept on using it, while using it I let my hair grow out for 9 months without cutting and still kept it at a long length, I combed every time and saw the flakes fall out and washed my hair with head and shoulders also with selsun blue (the sweet fragrance one available today) doing the process that will bring back my hair to it’s peek.

As the weeks went on I saw the change and then I decided to wave my hair again the way I always did for years, so I cut my hear for the new year and began to brush again from a comb #2. Still combing and brushing things kept in control. So as I began to look up the ingredients in the shampoos and from the web I read how sulfates are not a good thing for the hair follicle, it contains toxins and poisons that can indeed damage your scalp degrading the quality of your hair, so over the years of using such products could have done more bad than good.

So I picked up some natural shampoos that doesn’t contain any sulfates or toxins in them, these things also leads to frizzed hair as well which I was suffering from, as I stopped using the head and shoulders as I found this information and began to use that to was my hair, for the first 3 days my scalp began to itch, from using it, but I know that my hair will take some time to get use to no depending on the other shampoos that I have bin using. As I continued to use the natural shampoo my hair began to transform, the itch slowly went away after 2 weeks of using it, my scalp felt much better and my hair couldn’t of looked any better.

I began to add natural products to my daily hair routine to keep it in healthy condition such as vitamins minerals for hair, and for all the while it has worked, I notice a few weeks ago some flakes came back but this is from not washing my hair as regular as I did before so I’m going to go back using the solution and washing my hair 2 times a week. The thing here to note is that there are many different things that can cause this and to get rid of it will not always be the same as what I did to anyone else. Everyone hair is different and will grow different as well. This is why I say to use natural products as you can, it will be easier for your hair to deal with and always but always research the ingredients in your shampoo’s and conditioner’s.
The hair is a organ and it needs to be treated like one, it need air to breath it need vitamins to stay strong and like other things we intake to out bodies hair has to deal with, sun, smoke, heat, weather conditions, water, air and all these other things we put in and over it, will result on how it behaves.

Although some things are gene related I do believe with the right steps and maintenance you can slow down hair loss and even stop it, age also do play a role on the quality of hair but with a good healthy diet and exercise will help dramatically in keeping your youth alive. Today I have my hair back with a healthy scalp and will continue to maintain it which will take care of a great deal of problems from happening latter down the road.
What I Recommend:

 1. A good diet (sleep well).
 2. Use Natural Shampoo and conditioner without sulfates.
 3. Wash your hair 2 times a week minimum.
 4. Water with less toxins is better to wash your hair.
 5. Keep your scalp clean and hair properly moisturized.
 6. Do not use heavy grease in your scalp for longer than 2 days without washing it out.
 7. Comb your hair and gently rub it with the comb (this massages the scalp and lifts and dead skin off of it such as scales).
 8. Comb or brush your hair 3 times a day for a minimum of 30min total for the day.

What My Dermatologist Recommend:

 1. Continue using the oil with the solution.
 2. Keep your scalp clean by washing your hair.
 3. It may come back from time to time.
 4. Continue using head and shoulders and selsun blue.
 5. Use any shampoo you like after.
